Banishers - VFX Concept Art

A few years ago I had the opportunity to work on Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, it was a great experience from which I learned a lot.

This was my first experience with VFX concept art and it took some time to adjust but it taught me a lot about design in general, I mostly worked on the moveset for Aul Saul / Aghast.

I had the pleasure to work with many incredible artists and people! Thanks to Geoffrey Soudant for his guidance and vision, who taught me so many things I didn't know I needed, and thanks to Basile Gouttenoire and Fantin Sailley for their amazing art and the inspiration.

The idea behind this concept was to evoke the feeling of being lost on a battlefield from another time, to reference Aul Saul's military history

Initially the idea was to make some spectral flames but it was later ruled out in favor of something more thematically fitting for Aghast
